February 14,2023.
In the waiting, I had focused my hope on what others reminded as: "God has His best for you, Do not settle for less."
Over the past few months, I visited friends, mentors' home and lived in their midst. How kind of the Lord to show me what a family could look like in the way of the Lord.
To open their home to show Jesus's hospitality
To push each other to live out their calling through community
To serve one another through the mundane day to day
To have habits and traditions of togetherness
It is a truly beautiful sight. And uncommon sight. To which now I know how to raise my own family one day. Perhaps not having the ideal family has created a longing where I want to create a family of my own I can call home.
To this too, I have learned to give the desire to Jesus. For, if it be that the Lord calls me to a season of singleness to have my sight focused on His kingdom building, So I shall.
I have learned that He is enough and more for me.

"Tam, scratch that goal of an idealized picture of a perfect instagrammable relationship you can have. The end goal is not to end up with "an amazing marriage". The goal is to be able to, in every season of your life, seek Him with all your heart, and build a flourishing relationship with Him. Should it be that one day that is done through the process of a courtship." My trusted mentor and friend told me.
I had told her, It is a beautiful home that she has raised with 2 beautiful daughters who adores her, while still being able to be ministry's powerhouse at their work.
To which, through her answers, I learned an important lessson.
*Dear God, If I ever feel the slightest bit unloved, left out, or abandoned, remind me again of your Cross. Your love for me is more than enough and it is written in every pages of your Word. Thank you that I can call you Mine and that I am yours...Your Beloved.*
Fellow sojourner,
T.W.
It started with God first asking, "Do you want it?" He asked if I wanted what He has for me. Only when I was ready to say ‘Yes’, the next question He asked , "Do you now see what I want you to have?" And then He asked me "Do you now believe I can give this to you?
