Sis, you know he is not good for you, and not great for the Kingdom God has called you to build. Just because you feel lonely or depressed, do not settle for a relationship way beneath your standard. For a reason you cannot see now, God wants you to wait.
I have putted my good desire–to be love, wanted, and a good marriage to be my idols. That I would do anything, even sin before the Lord, to get them. These desires are good in themselves, but should never replace the ultimate desire for God first and foremost. Maybe you just got out of a relationship. Or you were in the “almost a relationship”. But it didn’t work out. Do you know that Paul in 1 Cor 7 calls singleness a gift? He does not call it a gift because there is a lack of desire for companionship. And it certainly does not mean a gift for the select few who don't experience emotional struggle or longing to be married.
